Policy version 24 October 2026
Applies to new transactions from publication of this version.
1 Scope and acceptance
These Terms govern use of swarnjal.com and direct purchases of products and services from Prickhome Technologies Private Limited, operating the Swarn Jal brand (the Company, we, us or our). They apply together with the product information and purchase terms presented before an order is placed.
By affirmatively accepting these Terms at checkout or otherwise entering into an applicable agreement, you agree to the provisions relevant to that transaction. Orders must be placed by persons legally competent to contract or by their duly authorized representatives.
These Terms apply subject to mandatory law, enforceable product promises and binding marketplace requirements. No provision excludes a consumer right or Company obligation that cannot lawfully be excluded.
2 Product descriptions and suitability
The description, model, specifications, compatibility requirements, contents and warranty disclosed for the product at purchase govern the order. Customers should check the intended application, electrical requirements, installation conditions and any expressly stated operating limits before purchase, and contact us where clarification is needed.
We may correct genuine listing errors, update future models or discontinue a product. Changes will not retrospectively remove a material feature or warranty promised for an accepted order. A material substitution requires the customer’s agreement where required by law.
Minor screen or lighting differences in displayed colour do not by themselves establish a defect, provided the delivered goods otherwise match the agreed description. Illustrative photographs do not excuse inaccurate descriptions or the omission of an expressly promised component.
3 Orders and acceptance
An order is an offer to purchase. An automated order-receipt message acknowledges receipt; acceptance occurs when we expressly confirm acceptance or dispatch the order, whichever occurs first, unless the checkout states otherwise.
Before acceptance, we may verify payment, stock, serviceability, compatibility information and reasonable fraud indicators. We may decline an order for an objective, lawful reason, including payment failure, stock unavailability, an obvious pricing error or inability to fulfil the order lawfully. We will communicate the issue and will not demand a higher price without agreement.
An accepted order may be cancelled by us only on a lawful basis. If we cannot fulfil an order for which payment has been received, we will refund the amount due and meet any further applicable obligations. Cancellation does not give us a right to retain payment for goods or services not supplied.
4 Prices and payments
The total price and applicable taxes, delivery charges and other compulsory charges will be disclosed before purchase. Optional services require affirmative agreement. Future price changes do not change the price of an already accepted order without a lawful agreement.
Customers must use an authorized payment method and provide accurate billing information. Payment verification may be required before dispatch. A suspected fraudulent payment may be investigated, but a good-faith payment dispute or lawful chargeback is not automatically treated as fraud.
Refunds and tax adjustments are administered under the Refund and Returns Policy and applicable law. We do not retain an amount twice or obtain duplicate recovery for the same loss.
5 Cancellations and customized orders
Contact us promptly to request cancellation. If the order has not been dispatched, we will confirm whether fulfilment can be stopped. Once dispatched, interception may not be possible and a return or return-to-origin process may be necessary. The reason for cancellation and the applicable return category determine the outcome.
Any charge connected with customer cancellation must be lawful and disclosed before purchase. We will not impose a consumer cancellation charge unless the applicable requirement for similar charges to be borne by us on unilateral cancellation is met. Describing a deduction as shipping, handling or return-to-origin does not remove this requirement. This policy does not introduce an automatic cancellation penalty.
Personalized or specially manufactured orders may have additional cancellation restrictions expressly disclosed and accepted before purchase. Any recovery must reflect a lawful, reasonable and evidenced cost, with credit for amounts recovered or costs avoided. Such restrictions do not exclude remedies for defective, deficient or incorrectly supplied goods.
6 Voluntary returns
For eligible direct website purchases, a voluntary return request may be made within 10 calendar days of delivery, counting the delivery date as day one. The product must meet the unused, uninstalled, completeness and condition requirements in the Refund and Returns Policy. Any category exclusion must have been disclosed before purchase.
This is a conditional return scheme. We may reject a request where the published eligibility requirements are not met. Used, installed, altered or customer-damaged products do not qualify for an ordinary change-of-mind return. Outside the scheme, a goodwill exception requires our written approval and does not create a general entitlement.
The 10-day period applies only to voluntary returns. It does not extinguish an applicable warranty, a legally required refund or another mandatory remedy.

7 Product complaints and statutory remedies
We may reasonably verify a complaint concerning a defective, damaged, deficient, spurious, incorrectly supplied or materially misdescribed product. Verification can include purchase records, serial numbers, photographs, available video, installation details and appropriate technical testing.
Where law requires a take-back and refund, we will provide that remedy. Repair or replacement will not be imposed instead of a refund that is legally due. A repair, replacement or another resolution may be offered where lawful and consistent with the applicable purchase promise and customer agreement.
Missing original packaging, the absence of an unboxing video or expiry of the voluntary return window does not by itself invalidate a statutory claim. Good-faith disputes remain open to independent review by a competent authority.
8 Warranty and service
The product-specific warranty or guarantee communicated at purchase determines its duration, coverage and remedy. These Terms do not create a uniform warranty period, lifetime service or an automatic warranty extension. An express replacement guarantee will be honoured according to its applicable terms.
We may ask for reasonable troubleshooting and inspect the product to establish the cause of failure. A disclosed exclusion may apply to damage caused by incorrect wiring or voltage, improper installation, accidental impact, unauthorized modification or repair, misuse, or exposure outside the product’s stated rating. An exclusion must be relevant to the actual failure and supported by evidence.
A burnt component, physical damage or moisture does not, by itself, prove customer misuse. Normal intended use within an advertised protection rating remains subject to the promised coverage. No warranty exclusion removes a mandatory remedy for a defect attributable to the Company.
Diagnosis, parts, labour or logistics outside valid coverage may be chargeable. Applicable charges will be disclosed for acceptance before chargeable work. If a quotation is declined, an agreed and lawful diagnostic or return-transport charge may remain payable.
9 Installation and customer responsibilities
Customers must follow the supplied installation instructions, warnings and operating limits, and use a suitably qualified technician for mains wiring or other work requiring professional competence. Site wiring, power supply, motor suitability and connected equipment should be checked before commissioning.
Free installation guidance, when advertised, does not by itself include physical installation, an on-site visit, plumbing work, an electrician or third-party labour. Such services are included only if expressly promised in the applicable offer. Necessary legal remedies and any expressly agreed installation service remain unaffected.
Customers should cease unsafe use and contact support if a fault creates a risk of injury or further damage. We are not responsible for loss proved to arise solely from customer misuse or an independent cause for which we have no legal responsibility. This does not exclude liability for product defects, inadequate instructions or Company-caused deficiencies.
10 Shipping and delivery
Dispatch, delivery, failed-delivery handling and return transport are governed by the Shipping Policy. We may select a suitable courier, route or authorized service location, subject to any specific service purchased.
Customers must provide a correct address, PIN code and contact details. Additional delivery costs attributable to customer error may be recovered only where disclosed and legally chargeable, including compliance with the cancellation rule where relevant.
Our applicable delivery obligations do not automatically end when a parcel is handed to a courier. Company-arranged transit problems will be handled under the purchase contract and applicable law.

11 Verification and abuse prevention
We may check product identity, manufacturing or dispatch records, accessories, tamper indicators and relevant test results when assessing returns or service claims. We may record inspection evidence and preserve relevant records in accordance with applicable privacy and retention requirements.
Where reliable evidence establishes product substitution, fabricated evidence, deliberate damage, payment fraud or duplicate recovery, we may reject the affected claim and pursue lawful recovery of proven losses. We may also restrict optional payment or account features where objectively justified. A disputed claim or unfavourable review alone does not establish abuse.
There is no automatic penalty, forfeiture of unrelated refunds or unrestricted right to debit a customer’s account. Internal findings do not prevent lawful independent review.
12 Website access and intellectual property
Users must protect account credentials and must not misuse the website, interfere with its security, impersonate another person or infringe third-party rights. We may proportionately restrict access for an established breach or genuine security concern while preserving outstanding order, warranty and statutory obligations.
Website content, software, branding and other protected material are owned by or lawfully licensed to their respective rights holders. Unauthorized commercial copying or misuse is prohibited to the extent protected by law. This does not prohibit lawful reviews, fair dealing or other permitted use.
Optional website features may change prospectively. Paid functionality or material product features already promised cannot be withdrawn without meeting applicable contractual and legal obligations.
13 Data and communications
Personal information is handled under our Privacy Policy and applicable law. Order, delivery, safety, warranty and complaint communications may be sent through the contact details supplied for the transaction. Marketing communications require any consent or other lawful basis applicable to them.
Do not send payment PINs, one-time passwords or card security codes to customer support. Verification requests will be proportionate to the issue and will not remove applicable privacy rights.

14 Marketplaces and third parties
Orders placed through Amazon, Flipkart or another marketplace are subject to the binding transaction rules of that platform, applicable seller commitments and law. Our direct website voluntary return scheme does not automatically replace those rules.
Independent payment, communication and installation providers may have their own applicable terms. Their involvement does not remove an obligation that the Company continues to owe. We do not promise an optional benefit that was neither offered nor legally required.
15 Liability and allocation of commercial risk
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including mandatory consumer remedies, applicable product liability, fraud, wilful misconduct or liability for death or personal injury that the law does not permit us to exclude.
For non-consumer commercial transactions, and only to the extent legally enforceable, our aggregate contractual liability for a product or service is limited to the amount paid for that product or service. On the same basis, we exclude indirect or consequential commercial losses, including loss of profit, business interruption and loss of anticipated savings. A separately signed agreement may specify a different allocation.
No cap prevents performance of an enforceable refund or replacement obligation. A customer remains responsible, through lawful procedures, for proven direct loss caused by that customer’s fraud, intentional damage or other legally actionable conduct. Neither party is entitled to duplicate recovery for the same loss.
16 Events beyond reasonable control
A qualifying event beyond reasonable control, such as a natural disaster or binding government restriction, may excuse affected performance only to the extent permitted by law and the contract. We will take reasonable steps to reduce disruption and communicate material effects on an order.
An ordinary business difficulty or courier delay is not automatically force majeure. Such an event does not create a right to retain payment indefinitely or remove a refund, delivery or other remedy that remains due.
17 Changes and interpretation
This version applies to new transactions from its publication on the website. Later changes apply prospectively and do not retrospectively remove accrued rights, purchase-specific promises or accepted warranties. Existing orders remain subject to the legally applicable terms and representations made at purchase.
The Refund and Returns Policy governs return eligibility and refunds; the Shipping Policy governs logistics. Specific product commitments apply to their subject matter. Mandatory law and binding platform obligations prevail over an inconsistent general term.
An unenforceable provision is ineffective to that extent without invalidating the remaining lawful provisions. A goodwill concession or failure to enforce a right on one occasion does not, by itself, waive that right for a different transaction.
18 Governing law and complaints
Indian law governs these Terms. Disputes may be brought before a court, consumer commission or other authority having lawful jurisdiction. Nothing requires a consumer to give up a forum available under applicable law or complete private mediation before exercising a statutory right.
Customers may contact us through the details below for assistance, an explanation of an inspection result or review of a decision.
