Swarn Jal Water Tank Overflow Alarm is a reliable and safe device that alerts you before your water tank overflows. It is cell operated, so it is 100% shock proof and completely safe for home and commercial use, even if any internal failure occurs.

The device offers a long battery life of 1 to 3 years on a single set of cells, reducing the need for frequent replacement.

One of the biggest advantages of this alarm is its extra-long sensor wire support. Using a single pair cable, the sensor wire can be extended beyond 500 meters from the device to the water tank. Even after adding extra wire beyond 500 meters, the performance remains fully optimized and accurate, making it ideal for large houses, buildings, and factories.

It uses high-quality nickel-plated brass sensors, which are far better than steel sensors. These sensors do not rust and never contaminate water. The device comes in a strong ABS body and is backed by a 1-year complete replacement warranty.

🔍 How to Test the Device (Before Installation)

1. Insert 2 AA batteries into the device.
2. Switch the device ON.
3. Take a glass or container filled with water (non-metal).
4. Dip both brass sensors into the water.
5. The alarm should start sounding immediately and continue until the device is switched OFF or the sensors are removed from water.
6. This confirms that the alarm is working properly.

🔧 How to Install the Device (Step-by-Step)

Step 1: Open the Box

• Inside the box, you will find the main alarm unit and two brass sensors already connected with wires.

Step 2: Insert Batteries

• Open the battery compartment at the back of the device.
• Insert 2 AA batteries (Alkaline batteries like Duracell or Energizer are recommended for longer backup).

Step 3: Extend Sensor Wire (If Required)

• Cut both sensor wires from the middle.
• Join a single pair extension cable between them.
• The sensor wire can be extended beyond 500 meters without any loss in performance.

Step 4: Fix Sensor Position in Water Tank

• Place one sensor near the bottom of the water tank.
• Place the second sensor at the water level where you want the alarm to sound (near full level).

Step 5: Important Placement Note

• Make sure both sensors do not touch each other.
• If sensors touch, the alarm will ring continuously.

Step 6: Switch ON the Device

• Turn ON the device.
• Installation is complete.
• When water reaches the upper sensor, the alarm will sound and alert you to switch off the water pump.
